season overview
Fall (August – October)
● 2 Fall Tournaments or Fall League
● 2 scheduled team practices per week
Winter Warm Up Training (January – Mid March)
● Two scheduled indoor team practices per week 12u-14u Teams
● Up to two scheduled indoor team practice per week 9u-11u Teams
Spring Season (Mid March - June)
Teams will start routine outdoor practice in March and continue through June. JSB has secured Indoor and outdoor facilities in convenient locations in and around Webster Groves. Players should expect at least 2 scheduled practices per week depending on time of season. During the height of our season, players should expect an average of 3-4 events per week to include league play, public and private school games (12-14U teams only), local tournaments, and/or team practices.
9-11u Teams
(30-34 scheduled games Spring, 6-8 scheduled games Fall)
Following summer tryouts, teams will be registered in a fall League or play two tournaments. During the spring/summer season, teams will play in Affton, WGBSL one year up from their current age group, and one other Select league (National and American division) or 4 Local/ regional tournaments. Additional tournaments are always an option, at the Coach and team family' s discretion at agreed upon dates. $40-$50 per player/ per tournament add-on cost to the season fee package applies.
12U-14U Teams
(30-40 scheduled games Spring, 6-8 scheduled games Fall)
Following summer tryouts, select teams will be registered in a fall League or play in two tournaments. During the spring/summer season, they will play 8-12 scheduled games against private and public schools (Westminster, Priory, Chaminade, John Burroughs, MICDS, Whitfield, Patriots, et al; many of the same teams they will play in high school) and in Affton and one other select league (National and American division) or four tournaments. Additional tournaments are always an option, at the Coach and team family’s discretion at agreed upon dates. $40-$50 per player/ per tournament add-on cost to the season fee package applies.
